Moving & loneliness
Loneliness It’s been so long since I wrote one of these so this isn’t going to be anything major in any way shape or form but one of my things for 2024 was to get myself back into writing. So here it goes, First blog of the new year! I didn’t move country but I did move to a different county, fair enough it’s only Limerick but it’s still a big thing to do. The distance isn’t that long from home but it doesn’t make it any easier. So here’s what I learned over the last 4 months😅. It’s probably just me going on a silly little rant but maybe someone will get a little bit of advice. Things no one tells you when you move from your hometown: it’s so god damn lonely You’ll bearly see anyone Free time? Pft Maintaining/ making friends is hard You’ll cry, but it’s ok to cry Your washings not gonna be done all the time Leap cards/ travel cards are great!
