Don't Suffer In Silence

Watching someone suffer in silence

There is nothing worse than seeing a friend, family member or loved one go through something suffering in silence .
It is heartbreaking to know someone needs help and try to get them it but they won't take it.
Many won't want to talk about what they've been through. They will go through stages of pushing everyone away no matter who, family friends boyfriend ect
Stay with them, they're having a bad time and they don't mean anything they say.
They are not in a good place but they need you to keep them grounded.
You are not weak if you look for help
Please get help if you are suffering be that physically or mentally. Your life matters and the quality of your life matters.
Your health be it physical or mental matters

If people are finding things are getting the better of them, making a decision to seek help can be a really hard thing to do. Coming around to the realisation that they're going through a rough patch can be scary and difficult, so it's understandable that many people take some time before deciding to seek help.
If someone you know is going through a tough time, and they're rejecting your offers of advice and support, it’s common to feel like you’re powerless to do anything.  Feeling powerless is pretty awful and can be frustrating but, you can still be there for a friend that isn't ready to seek help. You might just need to take a different approach to the way you support them.

How to be there for someone who isn't ready to get help :

* Be available to Listen when they need
* Offer help or suggestions when and if they ask for advice
* Be willing to tell someone else if it is a more serious life threatening matter (the person may not want that but you are doing this in their best interest to keep them safe and others safe)
* Don't pressure them into telling you things
* Remind them of good things to come eg. Birthdays, nights out, college ect
* Sit with them even if it is in total silence, try throw on some of their favourite music and just relax but if you see them thinking to much try talk or make them laugh.
* Look after yourself too, if you begin to feel over whelmed when trying to be there for them, talk to someone, write, draw or do something to help you relax and ease your mind

There is only so much you can do to help them through this hard time, don't feel bad if you feel it isn't helping because it may feel like that to you but to them every time you make them smile or laugh helps them more and more.
Tell an adult if you think it is more serious and that they may harm themselves or others, they may get angry at you but it's better they be angry at you safe and alive than hurt or dead and you feel responsible
Every life matters guys and girls , so please be careful

Be Careful, you are loved, important and your life does matter šŸ’“
Please don't suffer in silence or alone, talk to someone a random stranger, friend, teacher or councillor I myself find talking to my pets really helps me on days when I feel down, because they listen and just love you and don't talk back

Love Yourselves because sometimes you are the only one who will
